Workshops

Do you enjoy working and learning with others?

I design and deliver workshops covering a range of professional and personal development topics. I keep the groups small so that everyone gets the opportunity to immerse themselves in the topic and I run the workshops in my home, making these learning opportunities accessible to everyone.

Each workshop can be modified for delivery in an organisational environment and I offer special rates for charities wishing to run a workshop in their own premises.

JANUARY-MARCH 2019 – Setting Life Changing Goals

3 Workshops over 3 months

With the New Year comes the challenge of setting our New Year resolutions.

We know there is a strong relationship between setting ourselves challenging goals and being successful; and between achieving tough goals and flourishing in our lives and careers.

So now is our opportunity to set life changing goals as our New Year Resolutions.

But how do we decide what to focus on, and how do we ensure that we set goals that will have a real impact?  And how do we stick with them?

This programme will guide you as you identify which areas of your life you wish to change and shape goals that will have the desired impact.  We will explore how to best develop strong and supporting habits and support you as you uncover, and find solutions for, real and potential hurdles and resistance.

JANUARY-JUNE 2019 – Making change happen – and stick

GROUP COACHING: 6 sessions over 6 months

With the New Year comes the challenge of setting our New Year resolutions.  And after New Year comes the challenge of staying true to them. Coaching can help you identify the changes that you want to make in your life and support you as you work to establish them into your new routines.

If you prefer to work with a group of like-minded folks, focusing on similar but not identical challenges, then group coaching may be for you.

This is a programme of 6 group coaching sessions during which we will focus on you identifying and making the changes that you wish to make to your life.  Each session lasts a minimum of 2 hours, and are restricted to a maximum of 6 clients.  In this way, we ensure that everyone has an opportunity to discuss their challenges and receive the support and challenge of, and gain insight from their coach and colleagues.

If you are interested in joining this programme, please contact me.

FEBRUARY 2019 – The Art of Listening

Part 2: Listening to yourself

Last month, we focused on how to listen and ignite the authentic thinking of others.  This month, we turn our attention to developing the much more challenging skill of listening to ourselves to stimulate our own authentic thinking and support us as we uncover our inner wisdom.

Drawing further on Thinking Environment and introducing a journalling practice based upon Proprioceptive Writing,  this workshop will offer you a chance to deepen your ability to listen to what is on your mind.

Over the 6 hours we are together, you will practice listening to our own developing thoughts as you work in the Thinking Environment and after lunch, as you work in the private place were mind and paper meet to discover your emerging streams of thought.  You will experience how impactful it is to listen attentively to your own thinking – on your creativity, your self-understanding and ultimately, your self-compassion.
